The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Charmois, habitually one of the last to be picked, has a mulberry and forest floor scents nose, a touch of morels. Here, I am just seeking a little more precision. The palate is medium-bodied with edgy tannins. This feels like a citric Les Charmois, quite edgy and sharp towards the finish.
