Note di degustazione
The 2009 Amarone della Valpolicella Case Vecie seduces with a heady bouquet that blends macerated cherries with autumnal spice, hints of sour tangerine and plums. It’s enveloping and elegant in feel with a fruit-forward mix of medicinal berries and exotic spice giving way to milk chocolate. This tapers off with a saturation of fruit and extract, yet it has the acidity to maintain wonderful freshness and leaves rosy inner florals in its wake. The 2009 has a large-scaled feel, but it’s a perfectly harmonious and very sexy Amarone.

The impressive 2009 Amarone della Valpolicella Case Vecie is a protagonist of the vintage thanks to the immense clarity and purity of fruit that is put on proud display. One step beyond those pretty fruit tones are more evolved and elaborate tones of leather, tar, resin, licorice and grilled herb. The wine is aged for four years in both barrique and botte grande and the oak has positively impacted the smooth, luscious texture of the mouthfeel. This is an object of real beauty.
