2013 Clos Vougeot

The 2013 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru, raised entirely in new oak, has rather opaque aromatics that don’t let you inside those “stone walls." The palate is quite dense and foursquare on the entry. The acidity is well judged, although I find this just a little “blocky” on the finish, as if trying too hard.
