Note di degustazione
The 2016 Bellevue de Tayac has a slightly rustic bouquet, simple with brambly red fruit and sous-bois . The palate is medium-bodied with dry tannin, a little hollow and short. Early drinking. Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois tasting in London.

70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot. Mid crimson. Sweet-smelling, more obviously Merlot-based. Plus some sweet chocolate notes from the oak, I think. Scented and chocolatey on the palate too, lovely freshness. Super-fine tannins and fresh aftertaste. (JH)
The 2016 Bellevue de Tayac is a blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. The latter makes its presence felt on the nose imparting blueberry and cassis aromas, tinged with vanilla pod. The palate is balanced, but rather dominated by the new oak and that seems to render the finish clean but anonymous. I would like to see more terroir show through and if so, it will merit a higher evaluation.
