Lot 7. Mid, very shaded garnet. Complex nose (and I’m two-thirds of the way through the tasting and this is the first time I’ve used the word ‘complex’). Delicate and distinctive. Brooding and bloody. Round and rich. Just a little bit sweet on the end but a very good effort. (JR)
