2016 Topside Syrah

The 2016 Syrah Single Vineyard Series Topside, matured for 20 months in 500-liter French oak, has a more open and high-toned bouquet compared to the Steepside, featuring exuberant blueberry fruit mixed with blood orange and violet aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, and lightly spiced on the entry; then there is wave after wave of fabulous, peppery Syrah fruit on the finish. Outstanding.
