2011 Belle Cousine Hyde de Villaine

The 2011 Belle Cousine is another superb wine from Hyde De Villaine. Bold, pungent and quite savory, the Belle Cousine very much reflects the style of this cool, late-ripening year and cool site in its strong savory accents. The fruit is still quite vibrant, though. This distinctly old-school leaning red is impeccable. Black cherry, plum, sage, lavender, chocolate and black pepper abound.
