Note di degustazione
The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos des Rosier, which I originally tasted just after bottling, has a fragrant nose with cranberry and raspberry, more tertiary scents developing with time. The palate is medium-bodied, sweet and candied with good weight on the finish. Fine.

The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos des Rosier has a very extracted nose, a bit "tutti frutti" and lacking real complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with lithe tannins, and somewhat sweet-and-sour, leading to a very attenuated, sour, spicy finish. Dries out in the glass. Is this representative? Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2017 tasting.
Monopole. Lightish cherry red, very Morey with its peppery floral nose. A little more savoury on the palate, just a bit woody (not oaky) as if there were some whole-bunch effect. Finest of tannins and long finish. (JH)
