Note di degustazione
The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village is serious and structured, unwinding in the glass with notes of cherries, wild berries and plums, complemented by warm spices and petals. Medium to full-bodied, rich and layered, with deep reserves of fruit framed by a muscular chassis of powdery tannin, forget it in the cellar for a few years.

There is just enough reduction present to push the underlying fruit to the background but not so much as to mask the pretty spice wisps. There is an equally seductive mouthfeel to the velvet-textured flavors that possess even better depth on the firm, palate coating and impressively persistent finish. This is an excellent Vosne villages that is worth your interest.
The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village is completely de-stemmed. It has a lovely black currant and bilberry bouquet of fine mineralité for a village cru. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy black fruit and a little chalky in texture, leading to a brisk, iodine-tinged finish. This needs two or three years in bottle, but it should age nicely.
