2011 Nuits St Georges Les Poisets

(from vines in excess of 70 years of age, according to Pascal Lachaux): Deep red. Aromas of red and black cherry and licorice. Dense, concentrated and sweet, with a sappy quality to its dark fruit flavors. Finishes with serious but fine tannins and very good length.
