A blend of 83% Merlot and 17% Cabernet Franc, this 2013 offers intense minerality along with notes of crushed chalk, wet stones, red and black currants, and a spicy character. With crisp, zesty acids, medium body and good depth, this is an excellent effort from proprietor Jonathan Malthus. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
