Note di degustazione
Moving to the reds, the 2017 Clementin de Pape Clément is 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a modern style bouquet of crème de cassis, graphite, and licorice. This medium to full-bodied effort has great fruit, plenty of texture, and sweet tannin. It’s forward, sexy wine.

The 2017 Clémentin de Pape Clément is a gorgeous and very serious second wine. Dark cherry, raspberry jam, chocolate, menthol, licorice and dried herbs are some of the many notes that flesh out in this pliant, super-expressive wine from Pape Clément. Far from an easygoing second wine, the Clémentin has real depth and substance. Tasted two times.
Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Le Clementin du Pape Clement gives lively notions of redcurrants and fresh blackberries with touches of garrigue, damp soil and underbrush. The palate is medium-bodied, soft, refreshing and juicy in the mouth with a fruity finish.
