Note di degustazione
Cask sample. Mid crimson. Notably ripe fruit on the nose – ripe cherry, but a spicy sweetness, too. Fragrant, but also a touch leathery in the tannin texture. Concentrated, chewy, with tangy and fresher fruit on the palate. Just slightly leathery on the finish. (JH)

The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes, tasted from a one-year-old barrel (there will 20% new in the final blend) has a tightly-knit bouquet with blackberry and raspberry fruit, quite elegant after three or four minutes of aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a lovely, confit-like entry, very well balanced with a silky texture, hints of raspberry jam and white pepper on the finish. Beautifully defined from start to finish. Excellent.
A deft application of wood sets off the ultra-fresh aromas of black raspberry, dark currant and floral top notes. There is excellent definition to the refined, punchy and stony medium-bodied flavors that conclude in a lingering, moderately austere and notably more complex finale. This is a lovely Chambolle villages
