Punteggio 94/100 · Allen Meadows, Burghound, Jul 2008

A relatively elegant, stunningly complex and wonderfully layered nose that has now gone largely, if not completely, secondary in character as only remnants of primary fruit is in evidence though neither is there any sous bois yet either with notes of earth, game, spice and an interesting touch of something akin to well used leather that also permeates the detailed, pure and intensely minerally flavors that are impressively refined and strikingly long. The '93 is a Corton of finesse and while the tannic spine is not yet completely resolved, it's close and this could easily be enjoyed now though it should hold at this level for years to come.

Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2000-2015, Robert Parker, Aug 1995

The Corton offers a jammy, black-cherry-scented nose, some opulence (a rarity in this vintage), a strong, tannic structure, but plenty of flesh and fruit for balance, and a long finish. An impressive example of this appellation, it should be drunk between 2000-2015. Meo-Camuzet's 1993s are unquestionably successes for the vintage. All the wines were bottled in April, 1995 without fining or filtration. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel (510) 524-1524
