2012 Deutz Rose Vintage

The salmon colored 2012 Rosé Millésimé (lot LA116D07917) is a blend of 20% Chardonnay and 80% Pinot Noir, including 7% red wine. Aged 42 months on the lees and dosed with ten grams per liter, this is a clear, fresh, fruity and well-defined rosé on the nose. The palate is concentrated, tight, fresh and still very young but vinous and round, finishing with good grip and stimulating bitter notes. The wine should round out further and should benefit from further bottle aging. Tasted in June 2018.
