Note di degustazione
Hudelot-Noëllat’s village Chambolle is a blend of 11 parcels around the appellation to provide a true expression of the village as a whole. The village aligns neatly with the character of the 2021 vintage – and Charles Van Canneyt’s examples is beautiful. This is pretty and perfumed Pinot Noir with both vibrancy and finesse. There is such energy to this ethereal wine, with delicate notes of spice, raspberry and redcurrant fruit dance along the palate.

The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a well-defined bouquet with dark berry fruit, touches of wilted iris flower and incense. Very attractive. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, fine acidity, but it attenuates a littles towards the finish. Fine sapidity, but just missing a bit of flair.
Wafting from the glass with aromas of sweet red berries, plums, petals and forest floor, the 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Village is medium-bodied, supple and vibrant, with lively acids, attractive purity of fruit and a long, saline finish.
Ripe and fresh aromas include those of plum, red and dark cherry and a whiff of crushed fennel. The sleek, wonderfully refined and equally energetic flavors exude a subtle bead of minerality on the lacy, focused and bitter pit fruit-inflected finale. This is very “Chambollesque”.
