2019 Chambolle Musigny

The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Village is a blend of two parcels in Les Mombies and Les Nazoire located in the bottom part of the appellation, toward Vougeot. It has a crisp nose that, curiously, you might think contains some stems. The palate is well balanced with sappy red berry fruit, impressive depth and the roundness one seeks on the finish on a Chambolle. Maybe a little short but still pleasurable. One of the earlier-drinking cuvées from Genot-Boulanger.
