2000 Veuve Clicquot Vintage Reserve Rose

Copper-tinged gold. Strawberry and raspberry preserves on the nose, with hints of toffee and floral honey. Ripe red fruit flavors are deepened by sweet, subtle notes of toffee and caramel, with a hint of white flowers adding complexity. This rather elegant, laid-back rose combines freshness and a warm, toasty quality, finishing with very good length and a flavor of sweet peach.
