2019 Nuits St Georges Les Corvees Pagets

The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Corvées Pagets 1er Cru is matured with 50% whole bunch and 50% new oak. It is quite high-toned on the nose of strawberry jam and light raspberry aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, riper than many of Marchand Tawse’s and higher in alcohol. There is a slight hedonistic bent to this Corvées Pagets, and I suspect it will drink earlier than others.
