Made from 100% Syrah, the 2019 Reserve Red is dark and brooding with subtle spice notes and a dusty core of dark red and black fruit aromas. Medium-bodied, the palate offers delicate mineral tension with lifting tannic grip that will need some time to loosen and find its cadence. I do not doubt that with additional time in the bottle, the Reserve Red will continue to please for more than a decade.

The 2019 Biodynamic Reserve Red comes from a special corner in one parcel on shallow soils and is aged in second and third fill barrels. This has a fabulous bouquet, very complex, a real doppelgänger for a Northern Rhône. Wonderful delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with a sappy entry, beautifully structured, slightly grainy in texture with a very persistent finish. This Syrah comes straight from the top drawer.
