2019 Chateauneuf du Pape

Submitted as a pre-bottling sample, the 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape delivers scents of pine, rosemary, mint and cherries. A blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% each Cinsault and Syrah, aged in tank and foudre, it's medium to full-bodied, silky and complex but with distracting metallic and medicinal, liniment-like notes on the finish.
