The 2020 Etna Rosso Contrada Monte Serra is youthfully understated with savory herbal and crushed stone aromas. It's silky and elegant on the palate, pleasing with its ripe red and blue fruits embellished with hints of lavender and exotic spice. Long and potent, the 2020 finishes with a web of fine-grained tannins that clench the experience with youthful poise. Tart blackberry notes stick around. The Monte Serra is wonderfully balanced but will require time for its aromatics to develop fully.
