The 2019 Saint-Véran "Premiers Jus" has a well defined, yellow plum and white peach scented bouquet that is very pure and fragrant with hints of vanilla pod. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, quite saline but maybe just lacking the nervosité of the Pierreclos on the finish.

The 2019 Saint-Véran 1er Jus is superb, offering up inviting aromas of clear honey, crisp stone fruit, pear, beeswax and subtle top notes of petrol, framed by discrete hints of wheat toast and nutmeg. Full-bodied, chiseled and incisive, it's tensile and penetrating, with prodigious levels of concentration and a long, elegantly chalky finish.
