The least expensive of the current offerings is the 1996 Valpolicella Classico, a spicy, cherry/strawberry-scented, elegant wine with medium body, good fruit, and a soft, round texture. This personality-filled Valpolicella is ideal for drinking over the next several years with seafood or veal dishes.
