Old vines. Cask sample. Mid purplish crimson. Fresh, fruity nose – not all that much unlike a really good cru beaujolais, funnily enough! Sweet (but not too sweet) fruit, a spine of acidity and then fine tannin on the end. Neat and confident. One of those wines to taste blind. VGV (JR)
