Palomino Fino. 3,600 bottles produced, but just 150 magnums have been made available. Barbadillo has 500 ha in state ownership. Harvested mechanically at night. Eight years' ageing in a solera system. All you can expect from an extra-aged manzanilla: refreshing, salty and with superb alcohol integration. Maximum elegance of aromas showing nuttiness, seaweed, dry flowers and yeasty character. It is a vibrant bottle of wine. (FC)

The NV Manzanilla Solear en Rama Saca Otoño 2014 is the autumn (otoño means autumn in Spanish) bottling of the unfiltered Manzanilla. The autumn bottling is the most complicated one, as the flor is weaker following the heat of the summer and the wine has a more powerful, slightly more oxidative character and a fuller palate. This is a very old Manzanilla with around nine years of aging under flor with attenuated marine aromas and flavors, especially when compared with the summer bottling. 1,800 half bottles were filled in October 2014. Great value.
