Note di degustazione
The 2020 Greco Santa Lucia is sweetly seductive, with a whiff of confectionary spice and dusty florals giving way to freshly sliced nectarine. It flows across the palate, silky and pliant, with mineral-tinged orchard fruits to contrast. This finishes long, nearly salty in character, with a tinge of sour citrus that pinches at the cheeks. The combination of stern minerality and zesty acidity keeps the taster coming back to the glass for more.

The Feudi di San Gregorio 2020 Greco di Tufo Feudi Studi Ariella (aged in stainless steel for up to 10 months) shows citrusy fruit with an almost spicy personality that includes dustings of saffron, dried ginger and cumin. It's all very subtle, but those sassy notes do distinguish the Ariella when compared to the other Grecos in the Feudi Studi series. This is a 1,880-bottle release aimed at restaurants and wine bars.
Lifting up with tropical mango, kiwi and a sweetly alluring whiff of candied lime, the 2020 Greco di Tufo makes a seductive first impression. This soothes with its opulent textures and the stimulating acidity that keeps it all in balance. Ripe apples and pears are nicely contrasted by salty minerals, as this buzzes with vibrant acidity throughout. The 2020 Feudi di San Gregorio is built to wash away those hot summer days.
The Feudi di San Gregorio 2020 Greco di Tufo is a bright and citrusy wine that offers grapefruit, white almond and minty pear. The wine is lean and fresh and full of the kind of taut tension that makes it a real pleasure to drink. A plate of spaghetti con vongole would do well.
