Tank sample. Mid cherry red with soft rim. Peppery edge to this gives the impression of stems but in moderation (if there are any). Under that is sweet, vibrant dark-red fruit. More tension and less roundness here compared with the Volnays just tasted. More elegant, the tannins so fine. Superb balance. (JH)
