Note di degustazione
This terraced vineyard on Diamond Mountain planted to Clone 6 Cabernet Sauvignon yields only about two tons per acre, according to owner Stu Lerner. The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Armstrong Ranch boasts gorgeous bay leaf and sage aromas, cherries, blueberries mocha, cedar and vanilla—just amazing complexity. Full-bodied, it's packed and stacked yet supple and reasonably approachable, with a long, dusty finish that suggests terrific aging potential.

From a terraced, southeast-facing site on Diamond Mountain, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Armstrong Vineyard shines for its purity and refinement, offering perfumed blue fruits, white flowers, graphite, and some obvious minerality. As with all the Lerner Project releases, it’s full-bodied and balanced, has terrific tannins, and is just a joy to drink.
