Wonderful richness, below which lies a major tannin structure, then the minerality and lively acidity kick in and push this out in the direction of infinity. Makes you glad to be alive! The 2019 Chambertin Grand Cru Cuvée Heritiers Latour is very promising, mingling notes of berries and rose petals with hints of rich soil tones, warm spices and licorice. Full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's beautifully balanced and complete, with ripe tannins and a long, precise finish.

The Latour family has been growing vines in Burgundy since at least 1731. Their négociant business – today one of the region’s biggest names – was founded in 1797. Still family-owned today, the company owns 48 hectares of vines, 27 of which are Grand Cru, as well as its own cooperage.
