The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Aux Reignots 1er Cru is a single new barrel this year, which is filled with their Chardonnay for 3 weeks before being filled with the red (incidentally there is none in 2021.) This is clean and very precise on the nose, very pure and harmonious with veins of blue fruit. Seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. This handles the oak very well with a shimmering spicy finish. Superb.
