2018 Marie Courtin Presence

The 2018 Extra Brut Présence Sans Soufre is a blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, made with no added sulfur and bottled with no dosage. It's a risky approach that Dominique Moreau has really dialed in over the last few years. Bright acids and sweet, floral aromatics cut through a core of citrus and orchard fruit. There are none of the hard edges or angular contours in the 2018. It's a wine that hits so many high notes, starting with its sheer deliciousness. No dosage. Disgorged: July, 2021.
