Starting with the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, it has plenty of black fruits, tobacco, chocolate, and some earthy, gravelly notes as well as a medium to full-bodied, round, nicely textured and seamless style on the palate. It's another impeccably made wine from Mike Smith that readers will absolutely love. It's certainly in the top handful of Napa Valley Cabernets under $100.

Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard has a deep garnet-purple color. Vibrant notes of kirsch, Black Forest cake and warm cassis leap from the glass, followed by nuances of lavender, wild thyme and fertile loam. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has firm, grainy tannins and bags of freshness to support the rich, black fruits, accented by beautiful savory sparks, finishing long and mineral tinged. (LPB)
