2018 Malleolus de Sancho Martin

The 2018 Malleolus De Sanchomartin is slightly more successful compared to the Valderramiro, with a touch more complexity and purity. This medium to full-bodied, plush, perfectly balanced Ribera has lots of floral, herbal, and earthy nuances, gorgeous darker, almost blue fruits, building yet integrated tannins, and a great, great finish. It still has plenty of tannins (although they're wonderfully integrated) and will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age. It should have 15-20 years of overall longevity. This beauty shows the cooler nature of the vintage while still bringing beautiful fruit and richness.
