Note di degustazione
The 2020 D'Agassac continues to show very nicely in bottle, offering up aromas of cassis, plums and berries mingled with hints of licorice, pencil shavings and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and seamless, it's lively and attractively complete.

Coming from more clay soils, the 2020 Château D’Agassac has bright red and black fruits supported by plenty of spring flowers, tobacco, and spicy wood. It's medium-bodied, has a round, mouth-filling texture, plenty of structure, and outstanding length. It's going to be even better in 3-4 years and keep for a decade.
The 2020 d'Agassac needs some vigorous swirling to rid itself of some dustiness on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins, a bit rustic in the scheme of things with a rather blocky finish. I was expecting more quite frankly.
The 2020 d'Agassac is plump, juicy and expressive. Red cherry, blood orange, iron and a whole range of Cabernet inflections meld together in this very pleasing, supple Cru Bourgeois. This is very nicely done.
