2019 Vosne Romanee Les Chaumes

This year, Felettig vinified separately the two Vosne-Romanée premiers crus that he formerly blended together: one is the 2019 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Chaumes, where he supplemented his own holdings with some purchased fruit. Revealing aromas of wild berries, plums, orange rind, spices and licorice, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and muscular, with fine but chalky tannins that will become more supple with further élevage.
