2019 Meursault Genevrieres-Dessus

0.12 ha. Near Perrières so it’s often less true to the vineyard than the Dessous bottling (which is now labelled simply Genevrières). Two barrels, unracked. Magnums only. A little reduced. Luscious on the palate – you can easily see the Perrières influence. Big and rich. Massive impact but almost more Perrières than Genevrières. (JR)
