Notes of peonies, violets, sweet berries and rich forest floor introduce the 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers, a medium to full-bodied wine with a lively core of perfumed fruit, refined structuring tannins and a long, sapid finish. This is a superb follow-up to the fine 2018 rendition.

The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet, commingling red and black fruit laced with woodland aromas and hints of girolles . The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, impressive energy and a nicely proportioned finish. Stylish.
