Maybe the finest dry muscat I ever tasted! The supernatural freshness and concentration literally takes your breath away. You really need a whole evening with this wine, to get to grips with the aromatic subtlety (although there is a grapey note and some typical citrus). Long, super bright finish with a ton of minerality. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

The 2019 Bürgergarten Muskateller is a picture-book Muscat. Crystal clear, intense and highly aromatic but precise and with vegetal notes on the nose, this is a medium to full-bodied, intense, structured, very elegant and seductive wine with a mouthfull of tropical fruit flavors, well-dosed power and inner intensity. Catoir's substantial and sustainable 2019 Bürgergarten Muskateller, a premier cru or VDP. Erste Lage, is a highlight of the collection and can compete with the finest Muscats from Alsace. Tasted as a sample in April 2020.
