2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Stellenbosch

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Vineyards has an attractive nose of brambly black fruit, singed leather, menthol and licorice, quite contained and focused. The palate is a little chewy on the entry, but then it settles down, offering blackberry and raspberry fruit mixed with hoisin and star anise, and a pinch of white pepper toward the finish. Enjoy this over the next decade.
