Honeyed, lightly floral aromas with green apple and a touch of spice – white pepper with sweeter beeswax and marzipan notes. Rich, creamy, mouthfilling, almost oily texture with a fine line of acidity running through it, keeping the wine taut on the palate despite the opulence and richness. Lovely salinity and phenolic tang. Great balance between the textural richness and vibrant acidity.

14% alcohol. There’s good density here with taut pear, apple and lemon fruit, as well as a touch of richness on the mid-palate. This has a lovely focus, combining some richer notes with good acidity and a long, mineral, subtly nutty finish. Beguiling and elegant.
