Note di degustazione
The 2015 Pinot Noir Terra de Promissio offers a more peppery, herbal style. Plums, passion fruits, bouquet garni, and bay leaf notes all flow to a medium-bodied, elegant and lively Pinot Noir. It has good acidity, the fresh, elegant style of the vintage, and a great finish. Similar to the Keefer Ranch release, it spent 15 months in 45% new French oak. Created in 2010, Domaine Della is run by proprietor/winemaker David Hejl and focuses on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourced from the Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley. The wines are brilliant across the board.

Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Terra de Promissio has a wonderfully earthy nose of garrigue, underbrush, mossy bark and fungi over a core of dried Provence herbs, pomegranate, rhubarb and wild strawberries. Medium to full-bodied and wonderfully nuanced with loads of earthy accents complementing the red berry flavors, it's framed by grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and earthy. 125 cases produced.
