Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2020-2025, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020

Following the line of the 2017, I was also impressed by the 2018 Aconcagua Costa Chardonnay from the cooler coastal part of the Aconcagua Valley, cropped from a cool year. The analytic data showed 13% alcohol and exceptional acidity, after only half of the wine having gone through malolactic. It fermented in stainless steel and matured in used French barriques for 11 months. It's a high-pitched and sharp Chardonnay, with cool flavors and aromas, more in the citrus range and with some austerity, finishing with a long, tasty and clearly salty finish. 34,422 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2019.

Dried citrus rind, cloves, apricot flan and a touch of apple tart. Medium-bodied with a bright core of pears and stony undertones. Taut but textured on the finish. Drink now.
