Note di degustazione
The 2019 Francs Magnus offers sweet mulberry and crushed strawberry scents on the nose, quite intense, though not the most complex. The palate is slightly bitter on the entry with moderate depth and good acidity, but I need to see more flesh around the bones on the finish. There are better Fronsac wines out there.

The 2019 Francs Magnus is plump, juicy and so inviting. Jammy dark cherry fruit, chocolate, licorice and spice all flesh out in this racy, voluptuous Bordeaux Supérieur. This is the first vintage made by Stéphane Derenoncout and his team.
The 2019 Francs Magnus displays a medium to deep garnet-purple color and bright, cheery notes of baked raspberries, warm black cherries and chocolate box plus wafts of menthol and aniseed. Medium-bodied, the palate has a good core of ripe, juicy black and red fruits, framed by slightly chewy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing on a minty note.
A fruity, easy young Bordeaux with cedar and currant aromas and flavors. Medium body. Fine tannins. Nice enough.
