An elegant, melony, spicy dry white from this well-known sweet white producer in Sauternes, the 2012 R of Rieussec (an already bottled blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon) possesses excellent fruit and precision. Impressive, pure and crisp, the production was abundant in 2012 since the estate declassified the entire Sauternes harvest. It should drink well for 4-5 years.
