The 2018 Mercurey 1er Cru Pièce 15 stands out, as is so often the case, for its elegance in this vintage. Unwinding in the glass with a youthfully reserved nose of crisp stone fruits, white flowers and fresh bread, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and concentrated, with a satiny, enveloping attack, lovely mid-palate amplitude and a long, saline finish.
