2016 Pommard

Hardly any different from their Bourgogne – light, simple, uncomplex. Perhaps the finish is where the distinction lies, with greater depth of flavour on the persistence, but you'd have to be in a generous mood to pay the asking price and not feel hard done by. (RH)
