Bright straw colour. Toasted nuts and salty aged cheese on both the nose and the palate. Mature and gentle, with a dry nuttiness and layers of bready, briny tones on the finish. Food wine. (TP)

Full bottle 1,186 g. Bright, glowing amber. Cheesy nose and an impression of burnished sweetness. Mellow and toasty with a savoury undertow. Such a silly price for such a mature, single-vineyard wine. This could go perfectly with so many foods. Maybe not smoked salmon (regular manzanilla better for that) but virtually anything savoury… GV (JR)
Several bottlings each year. RS <1 g/l, TA 4 g/l, pH 3; SO 2 total <20 mg/l , free <3 mg/l . This is quite widely available: Waitrose sell it for £12.99, for instance, and the single-bottle price at Majestic is £14.99. Bready and pungent. Bone dry and really appetising. Extra depth compared with a regular Manzanilla. VGV (JR)
8 years old. Pale greenish straw. A little soft but with masses of gentle concentration and a hint of cheesiness. Another camembert sherry? Massive intensity – and it almost tastes of white fish too! (JR)
