The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Les Rouges 1er Cru has a slightly rustic bouquet compared to Grivot’s other crus this year, but one that is still charming, offering red currants and cranberry and a touch of tomato leaf. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and fine density and freshness Touches of white pepper and clove appear toward the cohesive, slightly meaty finish. Very charming.
