2017 Gevrey Chambertin Pressonier

The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Pressonieres shows lovely purity of fruit below a veil of reduction. Mint, dried rose petal and sweet red cherry fruit all emerge from the glass. Like so many of these wines, the Pressonieres is a touch on the lighter, more airy side of Burgundy, and yet there is good potential here.
